Brisbane Swimming

Brisbane Swimming is one of Swimming Queensland’s Regional Swimming Associations, under the jurisdiction of its parent body, Swimming Queensland. The Association is committed to excellence and improvement in swimming, through innovative and progressive practices.

Each season, Brisbane Swimming conducts a number of swimming competitions and development activities in addition to annual awards events.

Swimming Queensland

Swimming Queensland was established in 1898 – yes well over 100 years ago. Its vision is to inspire and enable members to achieve excellence in the sport of swimming, as in life.

The organisation has seven Regional Associations (of which Brisbane Swimming is one) that help deliver development opportunities to swimming members, volunteers and Technical Officials and assist in achieving the organisations strategic goals.

Swimming Queensland has a strong history of producing world-class athletes, as proven by our strong representation on Swimming Australia’s National Teams.

Swimming Australia

Swimming Australia is the peak governing body for swimming in Australia with nearly 1,000 clubs and 90,000 registered members. Swimming is unique as it is a life-skill, a sport and a recreation.

Over 4.5 million Australians swim every week – that’s 1 in 6 people.

Swimming Australia’s vision is to create a nation of swimmers admired by the world. Swimming continues to be Australia’s most successful Olympic sport.

Swim Central

Swim Central is the national operating system (online portal) for clubs and members. It links and tracks all your interactions with swimming; including your swimming Club, your Region, Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia.

It makes it easy for families to keep on top of their registrations, access swimming resources such as online tutorials and find swim meets and products to purchase.

Registering with Swim Central is free and from there you pay membership fees according to the competitions you want to compete in. Click here to set up an account. Swim Central login
