The Churchie Swim Team (Anglican Church Grammar School boys) train at Churchie Aquatics under the direction of our coaches and compete in the annual GPS Swimming Championships.

The Great Public Schools’ Association of Queensland (GPS) is a group of nine leading Queensland boys schools, who compete against each other throughout the school year in various sporting pursuits. Commencing in 1918, Churchie has won the competition on 21 occasions, an achievement unmatched by any other school.

Churchie is also the only school to win both junior and senior competitions (in 2014).

The GPS Swimming season comprises six lead up carnivals and culminates in the annual GPS Swimming Championships. Swimmers from Years 5-12 compete in age groups/ divisions for the senior competition and junior competition.
